I've been wanting to eventually do a backyard wrestling story and earlier today I just happen to catch something on Fox News. Kelly's Court discussed a situation in Washington state where a local bar was putting on wrestling without a license to do so. Should this be Ok? Is wrestling a sport or entertainment? are the 2 main topics that came up on the show.

I think both sides had good arguments. I tend to think of wrestling as a sport. Cheerleading is a sport, right? Both are choreographed with skill determining the entertainment factor. I don't like when the government dabbles in the affairs of private business. However, because of the degree of physical risk, the bar had an obligation to take extra measures to fulfill its fiduciary duty to its patrons and wrestling entertainers.
